Broadview University and Broadview Entertainment and Arts University celebrated their 76th Commencement Ceremony on Friday, June 12, 2015 by confirming 32 degrees on individuals from the Layton, Salt Lake, Orem, and West Jordan Campuses.  The graduates were able to celebrate this joyous occasion with family, friends, staff, and faculty of their respective campuses.  Tears were shed, joy was expressed, no matter what the feeling was from the students, they were able to achieve their goal and begin a new career.

During the ceremony the students had the opportunity to reflect on what they were able to accomplish and where they are heading.  These graduates are entering into a unique club, which less than 38.5% of the Utah Population are members of, “A College Graduate”.  During the ceremony we learned that not everyone had the same pathway they took, and may not have all had the same amount of support.  Yet, no matter what was standing in their way, they were able to overcome it to celebrate their college graduation accomplishments.

There are some graduates that are excited to get out in the work force, while others are a little nervous. For years they have had the opportunity to increase their knowledge in their respective fields, yet now they are able to show the public what skills they have learned while in their programs.

During the Commencement Ceremony we were able to honor the following individuals for a variety of reasons.

We would like to congratulate all of our graduates for their great accomplishments and look forward to hearing more of your success stories.  As you were given advice from your fellow students the night of graduation, let me add one more advice, which is simple.  As you enter the professional world, never stop learning.  The world is fast, take a moment to celebrate your accomplishments, but do not forget the education you have received, and how you are going to continue to increase your knowledge.

We are excited for our next Commencement Ceremony, which will be held January 8th at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center.  At this Commencement Ceremony we will be celebrating the individuals who will be finishing their programs during the Summer and Fall Quarters.
