The Making of a Boss: Business Grad Rules Her Career

Published on January 14, 2013 by Staff Writer

When Kaylyn Cook graduated from Broadview University-West Jordan with her Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree, she knew exactly what she wanted to do with her degree. Kaylyn had worked for years for other people, and after graduating she knew she wanted to be her own boss.

After graduation Kaylyn was presented with several opportunities to run her own business; she was approached to run a Liberty Tax branch and also to own part of a 7-11 franchise. Everything looked interesting to Kaylyn, but none of the opportunities had exactly what she was looking for. That is until Kaylyn learned about Ameriplan.business administration degree

Ameriplan is an independent business opportunity that allows people to sell coupons for healthcare, dental, vision, and other retail services. Kaylyn bought into the business and now has the ability to talk with people all over the country who want to save money on everything from medical procedures to eating out. Kaylyn also has the opportunity to work with local and national business owners who want to become part of the Ameriplan family.

Kaylyn has her own website, is meeting with potential clients daily, and is learning about the art of internet marketing. The best part is, Kaylyn gets to work on her own time. She can be there for her son and make money too!

When asked what her favorite part of the job is, without hesitation she said,” I get to help people save money.”

It shows, too, when Kaylyn came back to Broadview University to talk about her success; she was glowing with happiness. It is truly inspirational to see a graduate achieve the goals they set for themselves, and become everything they ever wanted in the process.

“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right.” – Henry Ford
