Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)

Unlock the Power of Touch with Broadview’s A.A.S. in Massage Therapy

Apply a variety of techniques so you can help people feel their best. By earning your Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy at Broadview University, you can gain valuable, hands-on experience in spa, relaxation, and rehabilitative massage that you can apply in a variety of professional settings.

With personalized assistance from experienced massage professionals, you can take advantage of opportunities to hone your craft practicing on real clients in our on-site clinic setting. When you graduate, you’ll be eligible to take a certification exam by the MBLEx licensing exam offered by the Federation of States Massage Therapy Board (FSMTB). You’ll also be eligible for membership in professional associations, including the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

What You’ll Learn

In the classroom, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of the body and how massage allows it to relax and recover. Then, you’ll apply what you’ve learned in our fully equipped on-campus massage labs. Topics you’ll cover include:

Broadview’s helpful admissions team wants your enrollment to go as smoothly as possible. Start with your high school diploma/GED and entrance exam scores, then they’ll take it from there.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is $350 per credit. You may elect to purchase a massage table and/or chair from BVU; a charge of $250 to $400 will be applied to your student account if you make this election. Our Net Price Calculator helps you estimate the total cost of your education.
