Course Highlights

Professional Communications I & II

These courses introduce you to the skills and strategies needed to become effective communicators in business and professional settings. Learn basic communication skills to help you recognize the appropriate strategies to use when communicating verbally and in written form—including business reports, presentations and professional correspondence.

Anatomy and Physiology I & II

Study the mechanisms by which the human body functions. Major themes are relationships between structure and function within the cellular environment. Topics include anatomy and physiological processes of the skeletal, muscular, endocrine, special senses, nervous, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems as well as metabolism, nutrition, acid-base balance and fluid, and electrolyte balance.

Massage Techniques Lab Practicum

This course is a 100-hour hands-on course where you apply knowledge and skills in a lab and in a clinic setting on outside clientele, under the supervision of an instructor. You experience a variety of body types and interactions with the public through activities including client interviews and assessments, creating client files, reviewing documentation, consulting and debrie ng the client, recording accurate S.O.A.P notes, and providing client education. You will use this experience to master clinical skills, perform clerical functions, marketing skills, and customer service skills such as scheduling, re-booking, and following-up with clinic clients.

Broadview’s helpful admissions team wants your enrollment to go as smoothly as possible. Start with your high school diploma/GED and entrance exam scores, then they’ll take it from there.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is $350 per credit. You may elect to purchase a massage table and/or chair from BVU; a charge of $250 to $400 will be applied to your student account if you make this election. Our Net Price Calculator helps you estimate the total cost of your education.
