What You'll Learn at Broadview University

Our MAT® program curriculum is developed by industry professionals in order to equip you with an in-demand degree. You will even participate in hands-on, in person labs so you will have hands-on experience before you graduate.

The goal of this program is to prepare graduates who are able to :

  • Understand the muscular system through assessment of muscle function relating to muscle weakness.
  • Examine and understand range of motion limitations in relation to potential muscle weakness.
  • Assess and apply business/health concepts to effectively demonstrate planning, evaluation, analysis, and presentation of goals and objectives.
  • Master the practical application of palpation techniques designed to improve the neural integrity of inhibited muscles.

Courses You Will Take

As a student pursuing an A.A.S. in Muscle Activation Techniques®, you will be required to complete 60 core credit hours and 30 general education credit hours.
