Course Descriptions

MATRx Module 1 – Foundation and Posterior Chain,
Prerequisite: Participant must be a MAT® Master Specialist or MATRx® Foot and Hand Certified.
The objective: Students will learn the foundation behind the most precise level of application of Muscle Activation Techniques. The MAT Rx program utilizes the basic skill set of MAT® and progresses students into a patterned systematic process of assessment and testing the muscular system. These prescriptive rules are the most effective sequencing of MAT® challenging force tolerance levels in order to increase the stress threshold within the neuromuscular system. In this course, students will learn a total body Rx process from MAT that is designed to improve the communication between the nervous system and the muscular system in the most precise and effective way possible. Students will learn the complex MAT Rx sequencing patterns for the core foundation and the posterior chain.
MATRx Module 2 – Shoulders and Hips
Prerequisite: MAT550 – MATRx® Module 1.
The objective: Participants will continue to learn the most precise level of application of Muscle Activation Techniques®. The MATRx program utilizes the basic skill set of MAT and progresses participants into the implementation of a 43 pattern, systematic evaluation and treatment process that enables the student to administer a total body neuromuscular overhaul on their clients’ muscular systems. The MATRx prescriptive rules are the most effective form of sequencing the MAT tools, enabling the participants to be able to challenge force tolerance levels in order to increase the stress threshold within the neuromuscular system. Participants will learn various patterns out of a total body RX process from MAT that is designed to improve the communication between the nervous system and the muscular system in the most precise and effective way possible. In this module, participants will learn the complex MATRx sequencing patterns for the muscles of the shoulders and hips.
MATRx Module 3 – Accessory Muscles
Prerequisite: MATRx® Module 2.
The objective: Participants will continue to learn the most precise level of application of Muscle Activation Techniques®. The MATRx program utilizes the basic skill set of MAT and progresses participants into the implementation of a 43 pattern, systematic evaluation and treatment process that enables the student to administer a total body neuromuscular overhaul on their clients muscular systems. Participants will learn various patterns out of a total body RX process from MAT that is designed to improve the communication between the nervous system and the muscular system in the most precise and effective way possible. In this module, participants will learn the complex MATRx sequencing patterns for the muscles of the Lower leg and foot along with the wrist and hand
MATRx Module 4 – Cervical
Prerequisite: MATRx® Module 3
The objective: Participants will continue to learn the most precise level of application of Muscle Activation Techniques®.
