Course Highlights (MSM)

Managerial Communications

Business leaders must manage the flow of information among themselves, other professionals, employees, and their clients. This course will explore methods of using both written and oral communications to effectively exchange ideas across these varied audiences and types of interactions. In addition, the challenges placed on managers to effectively present, discuss, and negotiate transactions across diverse mediums and across global markets will also be examined.

Team Work/Group Management Tools

Cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork each affect the workplace climate in different ways. This course will focus on how managing groups, as opposed to individuals, contributes to development, production, and sales. Students will explore the dynamics of group behavior in all phases of operations, to determine the essential guidelines that enhance team productivity and meet organizational expectations.

Strategic Management

In this course, students will integrate the knowledge acquired and applied in their core courses to assess and develop strategies at the business unit and/or organizational level. Concepts including include strategic management models and their implementation, operational understanding of the strategic management processes, and the role of managerial leaders in strategic planning, will all be explored.

Many of our applicants are accepted without having to take the GMAT. We start with your bachelor’s degree transcript, resume, and letters of recommendation, and then go from there.
